Oh boy, there's nothing I like more than having to listen to some Union fuck prattling on and on about why I need to align myself with his cause, I like it even more when its a recorded message being recorded into my work voice mail.
This is the second call from these assholes who don't seem to have the first clue that its illegal to use a machine to call people and leave messages on their machines. Its against the law to solicit the way they are soliciting and yet, they keep doing it.
I am going to join a growing number of people in declaring that I am officially sick to fucking death of this hate filled electoral season. The world will be a better place after the 2nd of November. We'll be done with Bush and we'll be done with all the deceptive ads being propelled by the Indian Casinos who are greedy assfucks who don't want to pay any taxes while they take in BILLIONS of dollars. Fuck them. They should be paying whatever the going rate is for businesses in California, what the fuck reparations do I have to make to the Indians? I didn't rape and murder their ancestors, I didn't steal their land, I didn't infect them with flu viruses that killed off something like 80% of them. I didn't do any of this and I'm pretty sure that no one I know did any of it. So why am I being forced to subsidize a business industry that made $8 billion in profits last year?
Subsidize? Why, what do you mean, Johnny?
Subsidize in that, if the casinos are not paying taxes then they aren't even paying to help keep up the roads leading to their doors, they don't pay for the police officers who have to step up patrols because money and the lure of it brings out a criminal element, they don't have to pay for anything. And, since they aren't paying in and the services are still being rendered, then all that money to care for them is coming out of all Californian's pockets.
And that just ain't right. Pay their fair share, I don't want more than other businesses pay, I want what's fair. And fair is them paying back into the city and state and nation that allows them to make such incredibly mad profits.
So, hey Union Guy #442, go fuck yourself. Call an actual residence instead of my goddamned work number and quit pestering me with your issues. Now that you've pissed me off, I'm going to vote the opposite way you want me to just to spite you. Fuck you, fuck your war dialer and fuck this election season.
(And no, this doesn't mean I won't be writing about politics anymore, I will but I will be putting them off on IP Politik so they don't muddle up the joy that is the front page of Intellectual Poison.
