Mega New Words Ultra Blow Out with Turbos and Lasers! And a Kitten with an Eye Patch!

We've got a whole boatload of new words to get to. Some groaners (Rueben and Trumpathy) but also some superstars like Mewt and Urpa. Blaizzez faire - someone who doesn't care where they smoke (pot). Yes, I know laissez faire is spelled with more S's but it rolls better with the Z's

Mewt - a cat that won't meow

Embarrify - the act of embarrassing someone is embarrifying them

Urpa - urban sherpa

Rueben - a sandwich you regret eating

Whorror - a horrifying prostitute

Internlude - take a break from work to do an internship

Bitchycle - someone who keeps complaining even after getting on their bike

Monochromous - a monotonous one-sided
"conversation"

Ashean - ocean filled with ash

Ofiend - a regular and often fiend

Explanatino - a latino who explains himself (rare)

Opposuite - a suite on the opposite side of the hallway or a "mirror image" suite

Trampathy - sympathy or empathy for tramps

Trumpathy - sympathy for Donald Trump (curable via medication and/or lobotomy).

New Word Thursday!

That's right, kids, its time for another explosion of new words. I don't think there's much of a theme to today's new words, aside from generalized awesomeness, of course. These will be cross-posted on my Fictionarium as well and maybe even to my Posterous which I rediscovered yesterday and am planning on using quite a bit more often as a posting mechanism.

And hey, let me know if any of these tickle your funny bone or make you say Hmmmmmmm.

Virtuaous - virtually virtuous, someone who plays nicely only but is a jerk in real life (yeah, I know its usually the other way around)

New Word Monday!

My brain is still all fogged up from not enough sleep so let's take the easy way out and post some new words! Time for another blast of new words straight from my brain to yours. A couple of borrowed new words with attributions added to the mix this time around. And yes, of course, these will all make their way to the Fictionarium for long term storage.

Tribernation - the off season for triathletes (liberated from Lava Magazine).

Mantics - man antics.

Fantics - fan antics.

Rxcess - too many prescription pills.

Injest - joking while eating.

Celebrification - the making of celebrity even though the target's done nothing to earn it (see the Palins or Hiltons).

Smute - muted porn.

Shopeful - shopping for hope.

Canstruction - amazing structures made from canned goods (borrowed from @OurOcean).

Metaphor shower - being bombarded by metaphors.

Pumpular Mechanics - a magazine for hot mechanics.

Ironirock - ironic rock (Amy Winehouse's Rehab).

New Word Wednesday is Back!

That's right, campers, its time for another new word blast! I will get these and other new words I've created posted over on the Fictionarium sooner or later (though the smart money is on later).

Enough jibber jabber, let's get to the new words!

Oddvice - strange or odd advice

Scrone - pastry for a mean old lady

Almoast - bread that is almost toast

Thawt - thinking that thaws one out

Scruel - a cruel school

Pricknic - a picnic for jerks

Stopics - topics that kill conversations

Independence Day New Word

I came up with this word a few days ago and have been wrestling with it since because it is a word that already exists. I just want to add another meaning to it.

Twitches - twit bitches. Like the three girls in low-rider jeans with their Starbucks cups who wander around Target giggling and basically just getting in the way. Or Paris Hilton.

Time to go get the coffee machine rolling. Today is going to be another busy one.

Its New Word Wednesday!

It has been a little while since I've tossed out some new words I've come up with. I lost a few because they didn't get written down soon enough but I think I caught more than I lost, we'll see. One thing I have discovered this morning is that sometimes my new words are other people's mispelt words.

Absoslutly - definitely a slut. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Doploma - one of those dopey pay-fer diplomas you can buy online from a non-accredited university to display on your wall is a doploma.

Promuse - an amusing promise or a promise made while wistfully thinking.

Saddisfy, saddisfying or saddisfied - some folks aren't happy unless they are sad. When those people have achieved their desired level of sadness, they have been saddisfied.

Transfortation - the process of converting your couch and its cushions into a fortress is called transfortation.

[Update: Karen has offered another new word, cynnisfied - satisfaction is only achieved once a proper level of cynicism has been reached. A broadly inflicted by-product of the ShrubCo years.]
