Passed along by my funny cousin, e, how about these apples? Bush opposes?'legacy' college admissions because admissions should be based on merit.
Now if we can all just step into the time machine and go back to his own admission to Yale and try and let him get in on his own merit.
Oh wait, he wasn't talking about himself, just the rest of the world. George W. Bush doesn't have to live by the same rules as the rest of us. He needed to and had to use his connections to get into Yale so he could become the great and respected leader he is today. Um yeah.
The thing about ShrubCo is that I don't think he even gets how ironical he's being or how hypocritilacksical or even how truly unfair and demonstrative of the elite douchebag he comes of as even though he's about as bright as a turnip that did manage to fall of the truck.
And another Bushie story for this morning, this one from my own dear sister who relates a tale of a ShrubCo outing to the famous family retreat in Kennebunkport, Maine this past weekend for his nephew's wedding. Apparently Shrub's security detail does not have to give a damn about locals or tourists because his motorcade sped through the twisty wooded roads up there at more than twice the speed limit. Not really for security reasons because, come on now, this is rural Maine. And why would he come up to Maine for a wedding and not go to his own daughter's college graduations?
Oh the election derailing nightmare that would have been if the motorcade crashed, either into the trees or if they had an accident because I know how twisty and curvy those roads are and there are blind corners everywhere.
I guess Bush doesn't think he needs the votes of Mainers who he pissed off by driving around like an asshole. But hey, if the mantle fits, let him wear it and he's had asshole across his shoulders his whole life.
