Well, the good news is that P and the baby are still healthy and doing well. The bad news is that, after a full day of pitocin intended to get the show on the road, the show ain't gone anywhere yet.
Our substitute doc (our doc's gone now for a weekend in Tahoe for the holiday) just came back in to let us know where things stand.
No more pitocin over night, restarting it come 7 tomorrow morning and things had better get rolling or we have to start considering our other options. Options that include scalpels and longer recovery and more complications. We're obviously hoping that the show starts up on its own.
Tomorrow will be it, one way or the other. Let's hope for the easy route.
