Another New Word
This one came to me as I lay in bed about to drift off to sleepy time happy land.

Particicant - someone who shows up but must be dragged into the action against their protests that they can't play/do/whatever it is that's being done.

And Another New Blog
P and I were talking over the weekend and it became apparent that there's another blog in us that needs to be brought into the universe. It may not be a daily updater blog but the concept is cooking stories, tales from our own evolution as cooks, big wins, failures (or alternatively called "learning experiences". Anyway, check it out at Cooking Stories but don't expect a whole lot as of yet. Its a new blog that's just been born, it'll need a little time before it gets legs.

And hey, if there are amateur gourmets out there who are interested in writing posts for the new spot then drop me a note.

Only four more days and we're off to Big Sur for the weekend. Should be a damned nice way to spend next weekend, I'd think. Although I'll probably start jonesing for my laptop a day or so in. But the seperation will do me good. Or force me into buying one of those nice Sony Clie uber PDA's.
