Ashleigh Banfield's Speech about the War and How the Media's Been Covering It
Yet another reason to like and respect Ashleigh Banfield, she gave this speech at KSU in Manhattan, Kansas. I've not been able to read the whole thing yet but what I have read deals with the press's coverage of the war in Iraq, focusing on the bang and less on the effect. Showing gunfire but not gun impact. And its easily more than half the story to talk about where the bullets hit than where they were fired from (though, no doubt, quite a bit safer and more comfortable).
Its very, very long and must have been nearly overwhelming in person. But yeah, she kicks ass. And she takes names and gives back the poison they spew. Some wank named Michael Savage calling her a slut for her stance on interviewing the Al -Aqsa Martyrs Brigade.
And she's pretty hot too.

Cool New Mac Toys
Yep, more coolness for the Mac crowd, LaunchBar makes it super easy to get your apps rolling. Set up abbreviations for your apps like Net for Netscape, IE for Internet Explorer, AP for Photoshop, etc. It looks like a pretty cool program and might save time.
Its not a cheapie at $20 for an individual seat license (when did Shareware guys get so technical with their pricing terminology?) but it might be worth it if you use your computer like I do. I have at least five apps running at once and will often have fifteen to twenty web pages open at any given time as well.

And then I get to complain that my computer's slow.
Anyway, give LaunchBar a try and see if it'll make your life better.

And go check out Reverse Cowgirl's Blog for some raunch and entertainment, most likely in that order. Just don't take offense, I'm just the linker.
