Isn't It Nice How Weapons are Given Such Nice Names?
Not so much the subject of the article, MOAB: The Mother of All Bombs, but the plane dropping this 21,000 pound bomb, a C-131 "Samaritan". Come on now, its reminds me of naming the old Colt .45 pistols, "Peacemakers". How did they make peace when they expelled hot lead at 2,000 feet per second?
And why are they testing this huge bomb, 40% bigger than any non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal, in Florida? Why not test it somewhere else where we aren't going to want to build on eventually. Or are they just going to detonate it in the Everglades and be done with them altogether in one big booming flash?
