Hmmm, Maybe This War Will Go Quickly
Especially since this article in the Sunday Mirror out fo the UK talks about some Iraqi soldiers who tried to surrender before the war had even begun.
Check out the story: Saddam's Soldiers Surrender. Main reason they were ready to give up before the fight began? They were unequipped to fight properly, hadn't eaten a good meal in a while and some of them didn't even have boots on. How could they possibly expect to fight? And knowing the best equipped army in the history of the world (the US Army, not necessarily the Brits they tried to surrender to) was getting ready to charge across their country? Yeah, I'd like likely give up too.

The bad news is in the final few paragraphs where some of Saddam's war plans are detailed out. Apparently Baghdad will be a very tough city to take as he's turning the entire city into a fortress. Well, ought to make CNN get some better ratings for a few weeks in any case.
