A First Amendment Booya!
Lawmakers Strike Down Online Porn Law because it would have made far too much illegal in the name of protecting kids from seeing porn online.
Which makes sense to me, my thinking goes something like this. Don't want your kids to view porn online? How about spending time with them or being in the room with them when they're online so as to observe where they go and what they do?
I'm tired of parents expecting other people to raise their kids for them. Parents who think schools are as much for discipline as education. Who think that allowing their kids to run roughshod will get them to love them more or some such. Or parents who are just too busy with their own lives to spend time with their children. Why did they have kids in the first place if they don't want to spend their time with them?
Anyway, good news in the fight against censorship.
