Opera "Borks" MSN
This is the kind of story the world needs lots more of, especially on a Terror Friday. Check out Opera "Borks" MSN off of ZDNet.

Basically, its a standard version of Opera (which is one of the best browsers out there now and kicks the poo right out of Internet Explorer) but when its used to access any Microsoft MSN sites, the text on the page is gibberized aka the Swedish chef from the Muppets. They did this partially for humorous effect and also to make a statement against Microsoft and putting corporate rivalry above the health and well being of the internet.

Gotta love it and I'm tempted to download it just for the laugh. I miss those old text "editors" online that would take any pasted block of text and convert it into something funny. My favorite was the Mr. T translator, I think. It would take a sentence like "I went for a walk downtown with my brother and we saw a guy steal a bike" and convert it to something like "I went for a walk, fool, downtown with my sucka brotha and we peeped some pedal theiving monkey, I pity the fool, sucka." Now that's comedy gold!
Might have to see if I can get one of those translators built into Intellectual Poison, I liked the old translation I had for a while that would take the page, pop it into Spanish and then back into English. Made for some quite interesting transcriptions.

Anyway, might have to download a copy of the Borkware Opera, and then just might have to post the results up here. Yahoo!
