And People Ask Me Why I Moved Away

Winter Storm Grips East Coast, check this bugger out and then contrast that with the fact that Paula and I rode bicycles most of yesterday. I cleaned my motorcycle out in the driveway in the sun in a tank top. Let's see, Central Park got 16 inches of snow last night and today and its not stopping, its coming down like permanent warp drive.

We pedaled around much of yesterday afternoon, borrowing H's cruiser and I took my new Phattie. Rode by numerous places, saw several for rent and found one that would be perfect for us. We're going to look at the inside this afternoon and make sure that its exactly what we want and I think it is. But we'll see.

One thing I'm starting to realize about this whole house searching thing is that it can be one big old money sucking racket. Application fees, background checks.
How hard would it be to put cherry little spot out on the market at a low price and then just charge each and every person who wants to possibly move into it? It could generate a fair sum of money with much trouble at all.
But I'm trying not to be overly cynical about it if I can help it, the world revolves on money so let's all do our part to push it along some. And keep your fingers crossed that we get this spot. It would be quite nice.
