In spooky but cool news, P and I play in a local football pool. I've been playing for, I think, four years now and have won a few weeks here and there.
P has won two weeks in 1 year and four weeks of playing. Week 4.
She won the pool last year the day after our wedding and she won this year on the day of our anniversary!
I think we can happily live with continuing that tradition ad infinitum. And no, it doesn't hurt at all that it was the biggest pot of the year thus far! That just ices the cake beautifully.
Maybe I can get her to pay for the rest of my new GTA: San Andreas that I put a pre-order deposit down on yesterday when I got my cool new wireless controller for my Playstation (ha, no more dog initiated spewing of electronic components when she runs by and snags the cord!).
