Link Dump

Lots of links I've been collecting and its time, its time to bust them out and set them free.

First up is the updated KIDDofSPEED - GHOST TOWN - Chernobyl Pictures with new images of nuclear devastation and more of Elena's bike as well as her curiously appealling English.

Fun in the form of a flash call to Tech Support.

Someone with alot of free time and an eye for drama combined with a large collection of little action hero figures, the Action Figure Photos are pretty impressive and evocative. Contrast them with Moocow's Pics from Iraq which I came across on MeFi yesterday (and an old comment war foe demonstrates just how freakin' stupid he really is, very nice, check out Civil_Disobedient's comment, my reply is under Fenriq).

As I'm doing research on housing options, I found the fablist which is far better than its stupid name and has absolutely nothing to with the Queer Eye guys. Its about pre-fabricated houses.

A cool concept taken to market, check out SPAMSHIRT for shirts with actual spam subject lines across them. Make your own. Good stuff and some of the shirts are more than just a little risque.

JPGMag is a new photo magazine that's currently accepting submissions for the first issue. I still need to dig up a quality copy of my Jagr in Clover.

I've no idea why I collected the link to onegoodmove: I thought these things might be clues but I must have had my reasons, check it out and let me know what's good about it.

P went down to the Monterey Bay Aquarium a couple of weeks ago to check out the Great White Shark they had in captivity. Pretty cool even if the little guy didn't care in the least.

Another place for news, this one out of Canada, called NewsGateway. Is more news ever a bad thing? I don't think so.

For all your recreational fun time needs, check out Weedcity for a pretty dizzying array of goodies.

For the man who thinks he can do everything, I offer Milkmen: Fathers Who Breastfeed. Yeah, it made me feel icky inside my own skin too.

Are you wondering how to get from Ned's to Apu's by the shortest route that doesnt' go by Moe's? Then you probably need to consult the map of springfield.

Curious about how many times the Republicans have changed their minds? Hit up, RNC Flip for the 411 (man, that makes me feel cool).

I can't see this but I bet its cool (I believe its the absolute latest Flash and the Mac OS X version is several months behind, go figure). Anyway, check out the LEGO Movie.

Dump IE and get the next evolution in browsers. Not only is FireFox just plain better right out of the box, there are some truly bitchin' Firefox Extensions that will make your life even better than it was before you broke off of the MS IE teat. Do it, your computer will thank you.

Another new blog to check out, the Blog Army - A Blog of One. Worth a peek.

Another blog dedicated to disseminating the reality that is WalMart and how they pretty well suck in every way (I tried to break MaeveKerry from WalMart but its a convenience thing, I'd hope that a little longer drive would be worth helping to knock this behemoth off but apparently not). Here's WalMart sucks.

More fun with the iPod, a choose your own adventure series, check them out at Slashdot | iPod Game Creator

And more Fantasy Books Online.

We've been taking Nande out to classes at the Fairgrounds Dog Training and had a good first class but the last one with the substitute instructor was pretty well useless.

And, finally, Election Protection 2004 aims to provide mostly impartial oversight to this coming election by placing observers in areas where there are expected to be issues with intimidation, illegal removal from voting rosters and illegal adding of people to voting rosters. This time around is far, far too important for any impropriety on any side. A contested election is a broken election and we simply cannot afford to smear our electoral process like so much fecal matter.

Alright, that's the link dump for this Friday morning. More to come, as always, I'm sure.
