A very compelling reason, I might add. John Edwards is on record as saying that he will do something about all of the misleading new medicine ads. You know, the boner pill commercials, Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Enzyte, DikLikIronRod, whatever the hell they're all called.
I'm suck to fucking death of commercials showing these two older, well off (how many people can afford a house on the beach) who are smiling and happy and then the voice over says, "if this time is the right time, don't you want to be able to sprout some trouser wood?" or some stupid bullshit.
Why? Do I have erectile dysfunction? No. It wouldn't matter if I did buy them, the ads would still keep coming. Its the same problem with spam. If spammers could actually stop sending spam to people once they actually bought the stupid product in the spam, then they would see a HUGE increase in their sales.
The advertising is rude, its leading and it bothers the holy shit out of me.
And John Edwards is going to do something about it. Or maybe I'll just use my Tivo's fast forward button to skip right on by it?
Speaking of which, I'm still trying to get the right cheat code to make my Tivo jump by 30 seconds instead of to the current action in the recording. Anyone gotten the code to work (Select - Play - Select - 30 - Select)?
