I'd almost forgotten about it in all of the weekend's excitement but Friday saw my final payment to what used to be PeopleFirst but is now CapitalOne AutoFinance for my motorcycle. That's right, folks, I now own, free and clear, my motorcycle!
And just in time to start making payments on the new Escape! Oh boy! But at least this way there's no argument over saving money by selling the bike! Not that P has ever even suggested my selling the bike, she knows that I would totally lose my shit if I had to commute in the car everyday.
Now they just need to kick me down my title and we'll be all set! And maybe in a few months we can start thinking about an upgrade to the bike to one of the new DL650's or 1000's, the V-Strom! Oooh yeah.
And P has just informed me that our little boy has reached his own little milestone this afternoon! She was laying him down on this super cool photo quilt that my mom got for him (its got pictures of babies and people for him to look at). She put him down on his belly and turned around to grab the DV camera and when she turned back he was on his back! He rolled himself over by himself for the very first time! Now that's cool stuff!
I've got to get some of the new pics loaded up because they are just amazing! He's got the cutest smile of any baby ever! And his obvious pleasure is like one of the wonders of the world.
In fact, I need to get over to the Long's photo kiosk and print out a bunch of pics for his grandmothers and aunties and uncles. I'd load them up onto the site now but they need to be reduced a bit since they're about 2 megs each right now and I'm already stretching the confines of my web space.
