What's Spinning on the IP iPod

After making the jump from the 1st generation 10 gig iPod to the 3rd generation 20 gig iPod, I've been relearning how to make better use of the tight integration between iTunes and the iPod. I no longer manage the music directly on the iPod, having opted for the automatic updating of selected songlists. So that I can now add my Christmas music if I want to but can also skip right by it if that makes me happy.

There's also something damned cool about going from 2200 songs to just under 4500. I'm sure I could delete at least one out of every four but this way I still find new music in there.

So what have I been listening to since changing over to the new unit? And if I were cooler or still at home, I'd upload the MP3's so people could download the music and check them out for yourselves. Maybe I'll try to do it later on tonight. For now, use these as a guide if you like.

The Flaming Lips - Do You Realize? and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Papas Fritas - Way You Walk (another group brought to my attention via the recently defunctified Plain Layne)
Weezer - El Scorcho, The Good Life, Burnt Jamb, Island in the Sun
Cracker - Eurotrash Girl
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Shhh, Chowder
The Avalanches - Undersea Community
Steve Burns - What I Do on a Saturday
Maroon 5 - She Will be Loved, This Love
Shakira - Objection (Tango), Whenever, Wherever, Underneath Your Clothes
Sade - Feel No Pain <------playing right now
Mighty Lemondrops - Out of Hand
The Faint - Agenda Suicide
Cake - Shadow Stabbing, Meanwhile Rick James, I Will Survive

And lots more but all of these have been on my On-The-Go lists repeatedly.

What have you been listening to that's been making your head bob?
