Perhaps I'm a disgusting textile snob, maybe I should just be happy that there are some team building efforts being undertaken. Maybe I should just shut the hell up and not cast aspersions on efforts.
But come on now, who willingly wears cotton/poly blends anymore unless they have to? Is the cost savings really enough to warrant handing out a shirt that there's no damned chance in hell I will ever wear?
Polyester makes my skin crawl, I can't wear it as a first layer. It seriously makes me feel like I'm swimming in oil or something.
I'd have happily kicked in a couple of extra bucks to bump up the order to all cotton.
Still, I appreciate the sentiment even while I revile the nasty material.
And now its off to steam trains and poorly played pick up baseball and hot dogs and weenies and puppies in the sun. Hey, it beats work, eh?
