Cheesy Interview Questions Cheddar X

This week's Cheddar X, It's Cheesier is all about job interview questions and might be slightly obtuse but hey, that just makes the world go around a little wobbly, no biggie!

1. What skills do you need to develop most?
Staying focused on tasks to completion. Is not interrupting people a skill? I need to work on that.

2. What did you like most about your last job?
I was an event manager for a wedding caterer. Best thing was walking home with tubs of leftover top drawer wedding food like crabcakes, steaks, bbq chicken and lots more.

3. What has been your favorite job?
For pure fun? Working in the kitchen at Camp Farnsworth, a Girl Scout camp in New England. I was 15 at the time and it was just the summer long ego boost I needed to be adored by scads of girls.

4. What was your worst or most degrading job?
Worst would have to be pumping gas in the dead of winter in Vermont (did you know that gas doesn't freeze and is incredibly friggin' cold if you spill it on your hand in winter? now you do). Most degrading job was working at a local gym in town, not the job itself but working for the owner, who was an unbearable stupid and irritating lecher of an asshole.

5. How do you deal with inter-office personality conflicts?
I generally shout them into submission. Or casually flash my pistol, that seems to calm things down quickly.

6. In what kinds of situations do you find it most difficult to deal with people?
I find its most difficult to deal with people when I'm conscious. They just don't seem to bother me very much when I'm sleeping.

7. How do you handle crisis situations?
With aplomb, grace and a snarky wit. Actually, I rarely freak out when the dookie is launched into the fan. It accomplishes nothing where sitting down and actually thinking of how to get out of the situation generally provides direction and the way out.

And that is this week's Cheddar X, It's Cheesier.

Want some? Go and get your own cheese and spread it all around!
