Father Waits for Kids Court Enforced Visit Before Murder Suicide
Santa Clara police probe apparent murder-suicide that kills five in which the father waited for his kids to arrive for their once a month visit before murdering them in their beds, then killing his wife and then himself.

What I can't understand is why he would have to kill his children? Why inflict that much harm on your children?

He lost his job a couple of months before and his second wife (not the mother of these three kids) was planning on divorcing him. So he murders them, leaving the three little kid's mother to pick up the pieces of a shattered life. I actually just finished reading the story and he didn't lose his job, he quit it.

Why? Why would he kill them? It just makes no sense at all and this is one of those days where, while I don't believe in heaven and hell I'd like to believe in hell just for today so that this asshole can roast forever. He's the worst kind of coward there ever was and death is far too quick and simple for him, he needs to suffer for, well, forever. It really and truly sickens me to think about this father, this supposed protector and champion for his children, standing over their sleeping beds and aiming a gun at them and then pulling the trigger. The depths of my anger are unfathomable, especially as I approach the beginning of my own fatherhood. How can anyone look at their child and pull a trigger to kill them?
