A Drill Bit to the Eye Socket
I saw this on the news tonight and had to find a link to the story online to share with the world.
Man survives being impaled through eye on drill bit and yes, there is a picture of his xray with the bit going clean through.
I don't know if taking an 18 inch long 1 1/2 inch wide drill bit through the face can be called lucky but he is. He lost his eye but isn't paralyzed, isn't dead and didn't suffer any brain damage.
And he's got some pretty freaking amazing xrays to show off. Nice to see his nephew already joking about it like it happens all the time.
