Two Cents on Madonna's Lame Attempt for More Attention
Oh my, Madonna makes out with Britney and Christina at the VMA's. Or rather, YAWN. The old bag is just trying to keep in the spotlight a little longer though she's not done anything innovative in years and is just milking her star until it falls.

She's like 50 now, right? What would people have said if a 50 year old man did what she did? They'd be outraged. Instead Madonna's all cool and hip again? Whatever, this was nothing but a cheap publicity stunt to generate gossip about her and sell more records because she needs attention, without it she's just another rich old sack of flesh.

And its worked because she's in all the papers and all over the news for kissing two girls that are half her age. But all I can say is big fucking deal. She's a media whore who'll do anything to get attention, including but not limited to kissing two pop tart slabs of record industry force fed lamo acts like Britney "Why Are You So MEAN, Justin" Spears and Christina "I'm Far Too Sexy for this Planet and quit asking if the gem booger on my nose is just a booger, it cost like a lot of money" Aguilera.

And perhaps this is one of the main reasons I can't watch MTV. I'm no longer even close to thier short attention span demographic that must be fed another "shocking" scene to maintain the over-hype and cover up the fact that they're just another media whore like Madonna. Oh yeah, and with a penchant for reality shows that are basically shout fests among teenagers. Oh boy!

[Update: Jay offers a much better idea than an old skank like Madonna kissing Britney and Christina, why not have Britney kiss Christina and leave Madonna out of it altogether? Its not the girl on girl kissing that's nasty, its the old lady and the teeny boppers kissing that's nasty. Good idea, Jay! Now if only I can burn the images of Madonna jamming her tongue down Britney's throat out of my mind.....]
