Worth A Plug Here

An excellent post was put up on Sarcasm Incorporated today, its titled: In a Perfect World... and discusses what "e" would like to see Kerry do with one of Bush's "grapefruits".

A short excerpt "So I have a few confessions and clarifications to make. I did vote against a bill that would provide body armor for soldiers in Iraq because you proposed to pay for it with those same soldiers benefits and salaries and you proposed to do this two years after you cut soldiers pensions by 20%. Our veterans are true national heroes and living national treasures, and while I have vocally supported equipping our troops with the most advanced supplies available, it is not their financial burden to bear."

Now, if John Kerry started unloading on Bush with things like that, then I think there'd be alot more attention being paid to the here and now and not the long gone past.

Nicely said, e, nicely said!

[Update: Came across I'm an Expert., and I Say They're Not Forged that refutes the dis-authenticity of the Killian memos that say Bush got a sugercoated National Guard duty and didn't complete his service. He makes some decent points and has the expertise to make them. Worth a gander if you've gotten your panties all bunched up over the memos.]

[Double Dog Dare Update: I just noticed that this post is the two thousandth post (yes, 2,000, two triple oh, a ton, one full ton of posts!) at Intellectual Poison. Total words for all the blogs under the IP flag? 641,294. And that doesn't count pictures either. Not bad for a part time thing. Oh yeah, total money earned via blogging? $0.]
