Because another one has bitten the dust. One of the people I've worked with the longest at this company has just given notice. The position will be very difficult to fill and the void will make my job much more difficult as well as adding on extra responsibilities.
Damn! Oh well, its a good move for the soon to be ex-co-worker. But it means the rest of us are going to have to work that much harder to gather up that slack. And things never stay the same for too long and that is a shame.
[Update: Thanks to the ever vigilant Leblanc, I've come to realize that I'm an idiot loser who can't even quote songs properly anymore. Obviously, AC/DC didn't sing Another One Bites the Dust, thanks for pointing it out so nicely!]
