DMV Mayhem and Avoiding the Fuzz
Some good news? The Watsonville DMV is under a mile from my house.
The bad news? At 8:30 this morning there were approximately 8,000 people in line.
So, I'm driving illegally today because I haven't had a chance to get my truck registered properly. Which means I've gotta keep the speed under a hundred and no more flipping the bird at the cops as I pass them on the highway.
I could have ridden the motorcycle in this morning but there are some serious and uncool winter storms headed our way today and I'd just as soon risk the ticket rather than risk laying my bike down.

So, I think I will do my damnedest to get up really early and be over there at 7:30 tomorrow morning so I can beat the crushing masses.

I'd write more but there's an electrcian in my office and he's about to shut my power off so he can map our circuits in the building. So, I'm going to go read a magazine until I can get back to work.
