More Wedding Followup Imagery Action
We had a small get together last night to look at wedding pictures and to take delivery of one of the crowning jewels of the whole wedding day, our painting that we had our good friend, Ken, paint for us on the day of the wedding. It came out beautifully and he not only captures the essence of the moment but he conveys the feeling of the beach, the wind, the sun, the aura of it all. Both P and I couldn't be any happier with the results, its just truly awesome and now the next step is to get a spotlight mounted to display the painting properly. But here you all go, a little taste of its beauty,

[Update: By the way, Ken has a website available, check him out at KenLund and see some of his other works. Ken has also just landed a cool gallery showing that will only help his star ascend a little faster! Check him out, tell your friends and hire him! And let him know you heard about him through Intellectual Poison!]

Another New Project Page in the Works
I'm going to start an Art Page of my own, pictures of mine that I think are art, regardless of what other people think. And here is the first new installment as there have already been a good bunch of pics that I think are art worthy. But the first new one is SuperBoner. Enjoy. Should I plan on explaining why I think this is art? Sort of defend your art concept?

A Few More or Less Random Links That Have Been Piling Up

The first, a good article about the symbiosis between alcohol and writing, the alcoholic as a tragic hero and more. Its on The Globe and Mail: Raising a glass to the Literary Alchoholic.

The next link is to a cool hack that can display what song is currently playing in iTunes when you're using iChat. Just kind of cool convergence technology that came to me from Esther. I need to get on it and install it so I can be cool too.

Choose Your Own New York! is a link to an online version of a never ending story. It may turn into a scam later on into the "story" but it was pretty cool to check out in the first couple of pages but that's as far as I could go in my limited time.
