Monsanto Suing Dairy Over Non-BGH Label
Intellectual Properties has a very interesting story going about Monsanto, the company that makes and markets BGH- Bovine Growth Hormone. They've decided to sue Oakhurst Dairy because they have a note on their label that their milk doesn't contain BGH. Monsanta thinks this is wrong because it might give people the idea that BGH is less than perfectly safe. Guess what? BGH isn't perfectly safe, unless you call 11 year old boys with breasts safe or 10 year old girls starting thier menstrual periods safe.

The link to the story is here, Monsanto Sues over Non-BGH Label.

Scary thing is that Daintily Dirty makes it all very way to close to home with her own story of her daughter. And the fact that she's very young and has developed some sort of a lump in her breast is scary to say the very least.

Monsanto needs to be told that people have every right to know about the garbage that other people are choosing to not include in their products. Its part of being empowered to make an informed decision. As for me? I'm going to start making for damned sure that my milk is organic and clean of BGH. I don't need boobs, thanks, my girlie's got that covered.

Perhaps more and more folks should start emailing Monsanto with their ire and they'll get the idea that they are on the wrong side of the tracks on this one.

Its getting so you've either got to grow it yourself or risk growing a third arm. Now a third leg, we can talk about but I don't need any more arms.
