Kobe in Court and Arnold in Sacto
What's the world coming to? Arnold finished up his promotional tour for T3 before announcing that he's going to run for Governor of California, the 5th largest economy on the planet. What the?

By the way, why is he called a Gubernatorial candidate? It sounds incredibly stupid, why isn't the candidate for Governor called something better like Governorial candidate. Gubernatorial sounds like something that happens on a dirt road in Arkansas.

And sports and legal analysts dissected Kobe's ten minute court appearance. Lambasting him for not being better dressed and for the lack of the lovin' wife on his arm (or maybe not so lovin', eh?). I can understand why she's not around, because the reporters will ask her questions that she will hate to hear and will force her to really consider sticking by her adulterer husband, $4 million purple diamond or no.

People are rallying to Kobe's defense irregardless (had to do it for Carlene because of this post and yes, I actually did right regardless first but changed it just for the fun of it, sorry Carlene!) of the current status of the case and the dearth of facts available to the public.

Hate to say it folks but he's looking more and more like a guilty rapist and less like a victimized sports star. but we'll see. Its not up to me to decide if he's guilty or not, its up to a jury of his "peers" from Eagle, CO, a town with less than a hundred black people to it. Good luck!
