Late Start to Friday
Today will be pretty disjointed so I thought I'd start the day with some of the random stuff that I process.

Nothing is ever lost by courtesy. It is the cheapest of pleasures, costs nothing, and conveys much.- Erastus Wiman.
Word.

Added a link to Famouz this morning. Famouz is a pal's venture and it seems to really be gaining legs on him and that's cool. They make some very high quality clothing, good pricing and if its good enough for Jerry Rice then its got to be good enough for me.

I learned a new trick today: Coded secret message email that's got to be selected before being able to be read. A simple trick and most likely unintentional. Print white text on a white background and voila, you get instant internet magic or stupid 'net tricks. maybe those sorts of things warrant a page or at least a post.

Came across Business Week's: Growing Crusade to Slam Spam last night and it might appear that legislators are actually going to get tougher on spammers. Though I've yet to see anything addressing the whole idea of what happens when the spammer doesn't reside in a US controlled jurisdiction? I used to get a tremendous amount of Korean gibberish spam. How's that going to work? Maybe we need to enact an international spam fighting team? Hey it would be a good cartoon at least. Call them the Spaminators or something stupid.

Dinner last night turned out to be a recordable recipe. A last minute sort of thing that worked out really pretty wonderfully. The key ingredient had to be the spiral pasta, I don't know the Italian name for it but it was very cool, ribbed long gently twisting hollow tubes. The ribs held the sauce and slurped nicely as well, it'd be an easy dinner to prepare for kids though perhaps not with a white wine clam sauce? Maybe I'll rewrite it up here later on. But topped with the best parmesan on the planet, Reggiano Parmesano, it was truly excellent. And it has been added to our growing book, now we'll just need to put in the time and compile it into a publishable form and see where it goes. Last night Paula came up with a possible title, Food Customization. Not sure how much I like it but its a place holder for now and that's the important part.

More random thoughts to emerge as the proceeds.

Oh yeah, go listen to Modest Mouse's 3rd Planet, its a cool song.
