Why I Love My Mac
The simplest reason I love my Mac these days is that, somehow, someway, my previously under-functioning Airport has, in the intervening months of non usage, decided to start working properly and perfectly again. I'm laying in bed with Paula's cat watching me type, unfettered by wires of any kind.
Wireless broadband access in my house thanks to Apple cool tech. Sure its pretty basic to do the same thing on PC's and maybe even Linux (something I should know given my vocation and access to information). By the way, I was quite bummed the other day at work when I wasn't able to give a MacAddict editor any good meat on Macs in China. I hate to say it but there are almost no Chinese Mac users or wait, Mac developers. Anyway, good stuff, wireless access. I need a Bluetooth card next so I can start up with that as well. Was tempted to use my iRock Fm transmitter to beam music to the stereo but with no one to appreciate it I just ended up watching Monster Garage (which, incidentally, kicks royal ass and Jesse James is probably the most unusual show host on TV today.
Anyway, it is late and it is time to crash. Tomorrow's another day, I get to ride my bike to work, have lunch with Modoc, work on fun stuff (I learned a while ago that my job is way more fun if I treat it like a game) and then get another day behind me as we move towards next weekend and move in day.
