Hodge Podge Thursday
Today's going to be patchy and updates to the blog may or not be all that forthcoming. A quick question or three, depending, why are the showing an "encore" performance of Joe Millionaire tonight and they won't show The Shield. I missed The Shield the other day and am more than just a little bit bummed out by it. I think I need a Tivo.

Why are they called cold sores when they feel like your lip is on fire most of the time?

A good quote for the day: When you cannot make up your mind which of two evenly balanced courses of action you should take - choose the bolder. - W.J. Slim

And a new blog to me, the AvocadoCouch, which certainly has its share of passionate writing. Always good to find another vitriolic soul. Especially a Chicagoan! Thanks to Layne for the linky. I especially enjoyed this post, thanks Emily!

Also, I did some work on the blog code last night to try and address issues PC users on IE have been experiencing. The page should be loading up without the need to scroll left to right to read the whole thing. Please drop me a note or leave a comment if its still wonky.

And one last, JobSpot WildnetAfrica is changing their email service informing wistful and wishful Americans who want to work in Africa from a free service to a pay service. They want to charge R240 (that's 240 Rands per year, the Rand is official currency of South Africa) which equates to a whopping $24US but still, that's an awful lot of money for an African to pay to keep tabs on unlikely career distractions. Anyway, its free until the end of February so if you're interested in trying to score a job on a game farm in southern Africa then click on over.
