Cool AIM Icons
Check out BadAssBuddy or Ballericons for some really cool and fun icons for your AIM profile. They've got plenty to choose from to match everyone's individual tastes or hobbies.
Mine's super cool, I went with Moto Bike (which is a gif of a dude on a dirtbike riding hills). Schweeeet!

News from the Front: Spam Wars
It appears that there's a new warrior on the side of good in the on going war to slow down and stop spam from overwhelming everything. Another Way to Kiss Spam Goodbye (link from Forbes.com) talks about a new company called Goodbyespam.com that seems to have a decent product at a decent price that'll kill most spam dead in its quarantined in-box. And its easy (or so they say as I've not signed up for it yet but $40 a year for a single email address or $64 for an unlimited number (i.e. in a company) of email addresses) to set up pass lists and never pass lists. Kind of cool overall, especially because they don't require the end user (you or me) to do anything different with our email, its the sender who has to click an embedded link in the return email they get before the mail will go through. And no spammer on the planet has the time to click through 5 million emails. And so, the message dies never having reached your in-box or wasted any of your time (just a very small amount of money per spam blocked).

Might just be a new battle starting though because I can already see some enterprising spammer out there writing a script to auto click the replies and the spam flow will continue after a slight hiccup.
