Cheesed Feed

So there has been one kind of annoying casualty in the move from FTP publishing to custom domain publishing via Blogger and that is the death of my previous RSS feed.

Which kind of sucks because I've got no means of going back and posting one final note to that feed to update it to the new one. Not that I had a ton of subscribers or anything but this whole Blogger migration thing has been one giant pain in the ass and I'm becoming more and more tempted to convert the whole damned blog to Wordpress and be done with it.

So, apologies to any feed readers that have gotten left out in the cold. I've updated the feeds this morning, created a new Feedburner feed for the site which will be updatable regardless of where the site goes.

Just another spoonful of annoying on top of an already annoying day.

Bad Word But A Neat Service

Widgetbox has a cool new tool to allow the easy addition of a blog's feed into another blog. As in, on this page, down below everything else on the right, is my What Not To Do feed. Its a blog that highlights the idiotic and sad ways that people screw things up, either intentionally or accidentally. I think it is, occasionally, pretty funny.

They call it a blidget (blog widget) and I wholly agree that it is a painful word to look at it or sound out. But the service is pretty sweet. I'd like to shorten the box some to make it easier to add more than one, like the feed from NorCal Bikers which has been getting better and better posting (maybe good enough to actually repair the wonky posting code).

Let me know if you like it, hate it or if it makes the page load hang.
