So it was bound to happen eventually. And yesterday it happened, I got my first ever payment for blogging. Not for a post or Intellectual Poison (though according to this blog, IP is worth almost $34,000).
Nothing huge, not enough to retire on but you know what, it certainly beats a kick in the teeth. The check was a many, many months accumulation from the Google Adsense ads across the IP Universe. The nice thing is that, at current rates, I should end up getting two or three of these checks a year. Not megabucks but, again, better than a kick in the teeth (as most things are).
