I know the media has to post stories like this, Escaped Hostage "Glad to see US Troops" but come on, who wouldn't be happy to see your countrymen in such a situation?
Duh! Next story will be about how happy his wife was to see him. And then his dog wagged its tail really hard when he got home and played with it.
I mean, I'm as happy as the next guy that he escaped, but is it really news? Same thing for the interviews with the soldiers who are just coming home. They interview them and ask really stupid questions like, "Are you happy to be home?". "Um no, I was really looking forward to getting shot to death in Iraq."
