Sure, the resolution's a little questionable and this could be an ultrasound of anyone. But its not, its P and the baby. The two best pics of the bunch are Face and Arms and Baby face. I may try and retake some of these shots with better light and repost them as they're just a wee bit hazy but its the best I could do at the time.
The videos didn't really come out all that well so I'm going to pass on posting them and we're a little ways away from digitizing the tape for full on posterity. But we'll get there eventually. And, in the meantime, I'll try to remember to snap some pics of the still captures. Or maybe I'll even scan them. Oooh. We'll see. Among the cooler things was watching the baby's heart beating along at a speedy 140 bpm and then seeing how active the little dude or dudette is, it was moving all over the place. It will be an interesting and fun next few months.
And one or two other pics that I just felt like sharing, the first, McKenna in Nande's crate is one of our friend's little girls who just thought the dog crate was the coolest spot to hang out in and this particular pic is almost like she's posing. If I didn't think child protective services would come and lock me up, I'd post some of the other ones that are super funny, she had a ball playing around in there.
And then McKenna's big sister, Madison. We had a good time entertaining for a while on Sunday but didn't get any painting done in the nursery. And that's fine, we've got time to get the house in order before the little he/she arrives.
The big news now is that we're only something like 19 hours away from bringing Nande home, barring more emotional barriers tossed up to slow down the process but I think we're going to barge them if they do crop up. And then the fun will begin!
