Kick ASS!
Our HR person just stopped by my office and let me know that there's been a change to California laws in regards to time off for a new child being born. I can now take 6 weeks off, making 55% of my regular pay, to stay at home with the baby and P once the little sprogger is born.

How freaking awesome is that? Yeah, I know, Sweden gives you like 6 months. But I'm not in Sweden and I am taking what I can get!
