I See Fetal Heartbeats
Looks like today is shaping up to be big excitement all the way around. With the courthouse appearance this morning and then P's first ultrasound just a little while ago.

And yeah, I saw our baby's tiny beating heart on the ultrasound monitor. Pretty amazing stuff. The best part is that she's doing great, P that is, and the baby is progressing very well. It is currently just about an inch and half long and it was even moving its little arm buds and leg buds. It was very, very cool and very exciting for the both of us to actually see this living creature growing inside of her.

Of course, now I'm waaaay behind on the day but that's alright, I'll work later and get it all caught up. The lucky part is that this is a quieter time of the year for the company and so taking a longer lunch to take part in these appointments shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Its real, its alive and we're going to have a baby. Wow!
