The Further Erosion of the American Citizen's Right to Privacy
Want to be frightened and infuriated at the same time? Want to see what the government is doing to circumvent the laws put in place to protect us from it? Want to see that there are private companies amassing enormous amounts of information about each and every one of us? Go and read Big Brother's Little Helper. Its long and scary and will leave you cold inside.
[Update: It has been brought to my attention that the above URL is no longer valid and is linked to a story about the Wright brothers, does anyone else feel something sinister here? I'd be outraged but I'm worried that the storm troopers will kick in my doors. Be a good citizen and shut the hell up and pay your taxes and don't think about the criminality of this government, don't think about the destruction of your rights, don't think about the raping of our country. Just keep your friggin' head down and try to take care of your own shit.

Combine that news with Many Federal Agencies Flunk Security and we have a truly alarming situation. 19 of 24 agencies didn't even get through reviewing their security protocols? How in the fuck is that allowed to happen? Who's in control? Oh yeah, the simpering chimp, nevermind. I'm gonna go and get drunk.
