I don't know if they just got to it before it hit the universe or whether Bush actually did do a good job. But I just read this article, Bush's On Camera Off the Cuff Comments and I'm still not sure.

I do remember his election campaign off the cuff on the record comments about some senator, an aside he made to a chortling Dick Cheney about the senator being an asshole.

Well, in this case, it appears that Bush might actually be making real headway in the Middle East. Closed door sessions on his own with four other leaders sounds like a presidential aide's worst case scenario. But he is a charming old bugger and I'm sure he turned on his down home Texas charm and shined them all with a combination punch of Texas wit (boob jokes and shooting guns and pick up trucks) and hard memorized key phrases from his political team of puppet masters. No, maybe not. Maybe he's actually doing something of value this time.

And the cynical bastard inside me asks where he's going to end up getting his cut in the end?

Martha Stewart to be Indicted just comes across as like a deja vu. I found myself wondering when she got out of jail and then wondered how lovely her cell must have been made up. And then I realize that she's not been to jail just yet.
Its all so surreal and bizarre.
Sleeping well, Martha? I sincerely doubt it.

Another Piece in the Camping Gear Puzzle Arrives
Our new tent arrived today. A steal off Ebay that got here far sooner than I'd been led to believe and there's that old adage, exceed expectations and people will return to do more business with you. Its true.
The tent goes up quickly and is good and large inside. Large enough to insert and fully inflate the nice big comfy air mattress that'll allow us to sleep well where ever we are.

Only a couple of more things to pick up before we can roll out without any cares this weekend. Anyone got good recommendations for coolers or camp lights?
