Why? Because, on this day in 1945, the father of reggae was born, Mr. Bob Marley.

He will never know the true impact of his brief but incredible life on all of us. I grew up with Marley and still listen to him everyday, War is an anthem I actually sing to myself when I ride my motorcycle sometimes.

His loss is still keenly felt by all he touched.
