Surf Cams, Online Geek Tools, New Blog Pals and the Morning Pedal
Today's a hodge podge of goodies. Still lots on my mind but not enough time to tap them out right now, maybe another late night mission will solve some of those issues. We'll see what tonight brings but I know we'll have Paula's nephew with us tonight so things may quiet down a bit earlier than usual.
First Up! Surf Cams
If you look at just the right time then you'll see my sweetie pedaling by on our new beach cruiser, the first two links are local San Diego cams and the last should be a list of a whole bunch of cams, actually not just NorCal and SoCal surf cams.
Pacific Beach Surf Cam
Mission Beach Surf Cam
Surf Cam Links, NorCal and SoCal
Geek Tools
I was doing some template work and needed to find a fast and easy HTML color picker online, Google (as always) produced numerous good hits but this one worked fastest and best. Cool Java HTML Color Picker
New Blog Pals
A referral log check and I came across Trivium today. I'm listed as one of their (since there is no gender attribution I've no way of knowing who the author is) daily reads and that's pretty cool. I will likely add them to my blog links down the left side later on tonight when I've had a chance to read them more thoroughly. If you're out there reading me today, then drop me a note to say hi.
The Morning Pedal
I probably should have ridden the Suzuki in today but it was such a gorgeous morning that I just felt like riding my Blue Heaven. It turned out to be a nice ride although I did have to stop once for a photo op from above the railroad trestle (yes, THE trestle featured in the movie, The Lost Boys) because there was no river mouth and waves were breaking all the way up past the concrete supports. That's a couple of hundred feet from where the ocean generally stops. Kind of neat really and I'm looking forward to riding back across the trestle tonight on my way home.
And I thought two things to myself on the rest of the ride in. One, my legs are sore and two, I'm riding my mountain bike in a very light jacket in the middle of January! Now that's pretty damned excellent! And if/when we relocate to San Diego then I'll be riding to work in shorts in January! Woohoo!
And on that note, I've gotta get myself back on the work track. Lots of things going on in the office these days.
