So Tasty It Has to be Shared

Last night, Hardy, his gal, a gal pal of hers and I went to Rosa's in the SC Yacht Harbor. Yes, I totally wished it had been Paula and I but she's down in San Diego so that wasn't happening. But I'll be there tonight and all shall be as it should be.

But this short post is about dinner last night as it was a first for me but will most definitely not be my last exposure. Anyone had a Cuban barbecue lately? Its a slow simmered pork and chicken dish with lots of spices (not burn your mouth spices, more fill it up with a symphony of flavor) and served over black beans with a cone of rice in the middle. It announces itself from five feet away with a heady aroma of meat, heat and spice and every bite is its own combination of flavors. Always delicious and never boring at all.

Really quite an awesome treat! And it even reheats fabulously for lunch the next day because the serving was too large for me to finish comfortably. And its going down like Cuban bbq'ed butter today! Yowee but its good!
