A Quick Word about Trent Lott and Racism in Government
Just because he kept his personal views to himself doesn't mean he was any less of a racist. Just because Strom Thurmond doesn't denounce non-whites as being less than whites doesn't mean that he won't believe it until his dying breath.

These people are red necks. They are in bred haters, they believe they are God's chosen few, that they are blessed whereas everyone else is a sinner and less than dirt. Because they don't say they hate people though they do. What happened with Trent Lott is that he slipped, he thought, somehow, that he was in safe company and he could speak freely. And it will likely be the end of his career. And it should be, make way for another up and coming red neck bigot to make alot of money by espousing hatred and intolerance and all things Republican being right, just and good and all things Democratic being evil, dirty and bad.

But don't think I think the Democrats are any better. They're not, they do just the same thing but in cheaper suits and with their first wives (i.e. not the trophy bimbo wives) on their arms.

Racists run our country. Now they may not be racist towards YOU but they're racist towards somebody. Its the nature of the beast, they'll have to marginalize someone to get re-elected.

Filthy nasty business, politics. What's the old saw, If someone wants power then don't give it to him?
