Someone out there in retardo-land thought that we needed a Garfield movie? Mark your calendars for June 11th, kids, because that's when an hour and a half to two hours of incredibly banal humor will be coming your way.
I'm sure there are people out there that think Garfield comics are funny but then, there are people who think shit like Everybody Loves Raymond is funny when its about as funny as a root canal.
I know that I will, one day, have to take my children to see ridiculously bad movies like this. I can only hope that the video iPod will be available by then and I can be with them but watching something with even the most remote chance of watching something that's actually entertaining. Bill Murray has loaned his voice as Garfield for this exercise in lameness? Come on, Bill, don't you have enough money to avoid crap like this? Or was it just a chance to work with little Jenny Love Hewitt, the voice of Dr. Liz Wilson?
Bleh, I'm getting hives in just writing this post. And yeah, I should be doing something better with my time than ranting about forgettable movies about fat rude cats.
