A Big Week for the Huh? House

That's right, this is the week we get to vote on Props 56, 57 and 58 for easily raised taxes, a monstrous bond to pay California's debt and a balanced budget amendment to try and keep it from happening again.

I still have an extremely hard time putting Arnold the actor out of my mind and putting in Arnold the Governator.

But no, the real big news is the ultrasound this afternoon. We're a couple of weeks past the normal 20 week mark so the sprogger will be even bigger than usual. P had me feel her belly last night when we were laying in bed saying the baby was pulsing some but all I could feel was her own pulse. But its all good. She's doing fabulously, by the way. She's in wonderfully high spirits, has been cooking up a storm and we've made even more progress on the house this weekend.

There's also the new hot press release that went out this morning and has already been picked up by some news outlets which means I'm going to have a really fun week with interviews and coverage. A PR flack's wetdream.

And then, and then, and then there's tomorrow. Sure its Super Tuesday and all that but waaaaay more importantly, its Take Home Nande Tuesday! Which means, we'll have the rest of the week and the rest of our lives to love and enjoy the company of this wonderful pup.

I've been looking forward to this week for a while now.

And I'm glad I don't come to Santa Cruz from San Jose because a truck bashed out part of the wall on Highway 17 and southbound is now a parking lot.

I will have pictures from the ultrasound up tonight and maybe even a short vid if I get too wild.

One more thing, Saturday was cool too. I won an auction on eBay for a new tv and the lady happens to live about two miles from my house so I picked that up on Saturday. P appropriated it for the bedroom and promised me another smaller tv for my office. So I got not one but two new TV's on Saturday! And we bought a whole bunch of other good stuff for the house that's slowly but surely becoming a home.

And Nande will really help propel that process! Baby today, puppy tomorrow! Ye-frickin'-ha!
