I just wrote a short note to Senator Dianne Feinstein about ShrubCo's plan to amend our Constitution to ban same-sex marriages. Its not like there's anything else going on in the world right now, is there? Oh yeah, that whole War on Terrorism thing, oh that can wait until we make America safe from them gay folks!
And what did I get back as a response?

Basically, they want you to pay $5 so that some Western Union punk carries your heartfelt fury right to the office of the person you're contacting. Oh boy! Wow! Where they'll still not read it and Western Union just basically took you for a five spot and your message still dies upon delivery. Democracy, its not just about being ineffective, its about paying to be ineffective.
