Kind of cool, it turns out that the John Cusack character I am most like is John Kelso from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, that's pretty cool because its one of my favorite movies. Its got both Cusack and Kevin Spacey so what more do you need to know?

And the housing update.
We've put a bid in on the place we looked at last night. Its for an insane amount of money and really, I'm concerned about being able to pay the mortgage, but I think it will work out just fine in the end. The owners have until Sunday at midnight to accept or reject another offer they got last night. P and I are of the mind that they wanted to get an offer from us because they liked us last night and would like to hand over their house to us and our little growing family.
So we get to wait for a few days and see if they want to take our deal. Its a good offer without contingencies and is damned near their asking price.
Moving to Watsonville will be a big change for both of us. I'll be buying another car to get through our winter rains to get to work in Santa Cruz and we'll have a decently long drive to get to the beach, an even longer drive to get to our beach but hey. Its only for a few years and we'll have a blast upgrading and experimenting on this house to hone our skills for the next one.
