They Can't Do This To Us
I just checked in on my favorite infowaif, Ms. Layne and read that she's on hiatus until the end of March to try and catch up on all her work universe. Understandable but then I realized that Amy over on intellectual properties is also about to disappear for her trip to go trekking in Nepal (of which I am extraordinarily jealous). So, all of a sudden, two of my daily reads are going away and I'm going to be left with the horror of actually trying to work when I'm in the office.
Or I'll just look around more and find some other fun spots to read, there will always be the guys over at the Fabulous Mint 400 (right guys?) and that should help and there's Gudy and Ryan and The Texas Kims (though they need to be writing a bit more often or I'm gonna start thinking they're not doing anything these days and I know that's just not true). And there's Carlene's Stilleto Philosophy who dropped me down some mad props today for my chat about war, murder and religion (danke, schone madchen, with an abject apology to Herr Delange, my high school German teacher).
So I guess things aren't that bad but still, first I lost MecaWilson and now Amy and Layne? I'm just glad that we found our place to live.
Oh and my Phat cruiser's rolling again (broke the chain yesterday, don't ask how). Always love the days I can pedal along the river banks on my way into work.
