142 Years Ago Today

On December 18th, 1865, Slavery was abolished. At least the original kind of slavery was abolished. I'm still waiting for wage-slavery to be abolished but it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. And until then, I'll have to be subservient to the hand that signs my paychecks (if I ever get one).
