SWEEP!

I've just coined a new term for the three game sweep of the Oakland A's by the Baltimore Orioles, bittersweep. Because I like both teams an awful lot, its bittersweep that the O's took all three games.

I hate it when two of "my teams" play each other because one them has to lose. The A's could afford the losses a little more easily as the O's have a bigger hill to climb back into the race in the AL East (and what would be sweeter than bumping the Yankees out of the playoffs altogether?).

And yes, I did have to razz my A's megafan pal a bit.
